Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites cloudvigil.se and cloudvigil.io and of CloudVigil AB's social media management and automated publishing services — including Campaign Studio, our application registered with Meta Platforms for Facebook and Instagram (App ID: 1060728986523789), and our applications for X (formerly Twitter) and other social networks (together, the "Services").

The Services are provided by CloudVigil AB, a Swedish limited company with registration number 559588-0393, registered in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden ("CloudVigil", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. The Services

The Services let you connect social media accounts you own or manage and, through them, compose, schedule and automatically publish content, manage posts, and view engagement analytics. Features may vary by platform and may change over time as platform APIs evolve.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Connected social media accounts

  • You may only connect social media accounts that you own or are authorised to manage.
  • By connecting an account you authorise CloudVigil to access and act on that account via the platform's official API, within the permissions you grant — for example publishing posts you have scheduled.
  • You can revoke this authorisation at any time by disconnecting the account in the Services or from the platform's own settings (see our User Data Deletion page).
  • Your use of each platform remains subject to that platform's own terms — including the Meta Terms of Service and Platform Terms, and the X Terms of Service. We are not responsible for actions a platform takes against your account, such as content removal or suspension.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You retain all rights to the content you create and publish through the Services. You grant us the limited technical licence needed to store, process and transmit that content to the platforms you have connected — solely to provide the Services.

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive or harmful;
  • send spam, run engagement manipulation schemes (fake likes, follows or comments), or otherwise violate a platform's rules on automation and platform manipulation;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties;
  • interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or platform APIs.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services in case of material breach of these Terms or where required to protect the Services, our users or platform compliance.

5. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design and branding, are owned by CloudVigil or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or source code.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Services depend on third-party platform APIs that may change, be rate-limited or become unavailable without notice; we are not liable for such platform changes. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudVigil is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data or loss of goodwill arising from use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

8. Data protection

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Instructions for deleting your data are in our User Data Deletion page.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Upon termination we delete or anonymise your data as described in the Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
