User Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete data that CloudVigil AB's social media management and automated publishing services hold about you — including data received through our Meta app Campaign Studio (App ID: 1060728986523789) on Facebook and Instagram, through X (formerly Twitter), and through other connected social networks.
You can use any of the methods below. No account or login is required to submit a deletion request by email.
Option 1 — Request deletion by email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- the email address associated with your account, and/or
- the social media account(s) (page name, username or handle) you connected to our Services.
We will verify the request, delete your personal data — including access tokens, cached platform data, scheduled content and analytics — within 30 days, and send you a confirmation when the deletion is complete. Data we must retain by law (for example accounting records) is excluded from deletion but never used for any other purpose.
Option 2 — Disconnect inside our Services
Sign in to the Services, open the account or integration settings, and disconnect the social media account. This immediately revokes our access tokens and triggers deletion of platform data associated with that account.
Option 3 — Revoke access from the platform
Removing our app from your social media account revokes our access at the platform level:
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Find the Campaign Studio app, select it and click Remove.
- When prompted, you can also ask Facebook to send a deletion request for the data the app received.
- Go to Settings → Website Permissions (or Settings → Security → Apps and Websites).
- Under Active, find the Campaign Studio app and tap Remove.
X (Twitter)
- Go to Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.
- Open Connected apps.
- Select our app and choose Revoke app permissions.
After you remove the app on a platform, we no longer receive any data from that account. To have previously received data erased as well, use Option 1 or Option 2 above — platform-level removal stops future access but does not automatically send us a deletion instruction on every platform.
What gets deleted
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the connected account
- Profile and page/account metadata received from the platform
- Cached posts, media and scheduled content
- Engagement and analytics data tied to the account
- Your CloudVigil account details, if you request full account deletion
